Trade Training Centre Days

The Trade Training Centre Days were held last week, with Quairading and Dowerin DHS’s coming on 24 October and Cunderdin DHS on 25 October. Students were able to choose between Automotive, Engineering and Furnishing for the day. In reality, everyone worked so well that students were able to move between workshops and try more than one area. Students from the College assisted staff on the days and were a great help. I think they enjoyed being the instructors instead of students for a change. We appreciated their help, and it made for a couple of enjoyable days for students and staff.

Year 11 

Year 11 students are trying to complete the final requirements for their Certificates for the year. It would be helpful for parents to discuss with their son/daughter how they are going to ensure all work is completed in a timely fashion. This will set them up well for Year 12 and it is great to see many students getting started on their projects.
