Eco club

At the start of this term the Eco club we have officially recycled over $1000 in just over a term through the Can Deposit Scheme. This is a big achievement, and it couldn’t be done without our Vermont Community – so thank you!

The money raised has allowed us to buy new plants for our school and you have seen them around the school. So far, we have spent just over $100 on plants and soil to improve garden beds around the school. After some work outside the Year 8 student managers’ office, we recently held a working bee on Monday 14th October, focusing our attention on the Year 9 area.

We think it’s pretty cool seeing the money raised by the recycling program going straight back into improving the school.
