SAPSASA Football Competition

Well done to Ashlyn and Aleah for being chosen to represent our District in the recent SAPSASA Football competition! The girls represented the school well and their team finished 2nd overall! 

7-and-under Netball

Our school netball team is currently seeking yr 1/2 students (boys and girls) to join our 7-under netball ball team.

The team plays at Golden Grove Rec Centre @ 5pm or 5.40pm, Mondays. The season runs in term 4 2024, and term 1 2025.

We are currently seeking stage 4 students to join our Good Shepherd U11 indoor soccer team.

The team plays on Thursdays at 6.05pm, at Kings Baptist Primary School gym.

Yr 4/5 GS Warriors

First week back was against our GS Rockets friends. It was great to see good sportsmanship by all. Our teamwork and rebounding were our strength to see all players on the scoreboard.

We had a big win 39-0 against CH Jaguars to keep our winning streak. Their teamwork and encouragement of each other was their best yet working hard to get the whole team on the scoreboard and Harry’s highest score.

COMMUNITY SPORT

Payneham Norwood Union Football Club 

PNUFC are hosting come n’ try sessions for all girls interested in giving footy a go. The sessions will aim to introduce girls to football or to improve skills and will be hosted by our Women’s Div 1 Coach, Garry McIntosh alongside some of our 2024 premiership players. Sessions will run for 4 weeks from Monday the 28 October to 18th November at Payneham Oval; 5-6pm.

ALL ages and skill levels welcome.
