PEAC Announcement
Rebecca Melville
We are excited to share some wonderful news and celebrate the achievement of the students selected for the Department of Education’s Primary Extension and Challenge (PEAC) program in 2025.
Each year in Western Australia, Year 4 students are assessed for entry into the PEAC program, which identifies and nurtures academic potential. Approximately 3.5% of public-school students are selected, with candidates taking the PEAC test in Term 3. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Meghan Griffiths, our school's PEAC coordinator, for her seamless organisation of the testing process.
In 2024, over 20 000 Year 4 students participated in the PEAC test, and from this group, approximately 1,000 students have been selected to join the program. We are proud to announce that 16 students from Burrendah Primary School have been identified for PEAC in 2025.
Congratulations to the following students:
Elissa, Jayan, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Sean, Nhat, Caden, Jayden, Kiana, Enyi, Julia, Aashrith, Penelope, Cassie, Zirui and Freya.
These students and their families have already been informed of their success, and we are thrilled for them as they prepare to engage in the exciting opportunities offered by PEAC in 2025.
We look forward to supporting their growth and success as they embark on this enriching academic journey!
