Catholic Identity

Catholic Identity Leader: Miss Eliza McNamara

Sacrament preparation will be happening at school. Thank you to Mrs Kerlin & Mrs Schwab for preparing the students for Reconciliation and Mrs Carmichael for preparing the students for Eucharist and Confirmation. Please join us for the whole school masses.

Reconciliation (Grade 2)

Reconciliation, also known as Confession or Penance, is a special time for children to experience God’s forgiveness and love. It helps them understand that even when we make mistakes, God always welcomes us back with open arms. Through prayer and reflection, children learn to say sorry, make better choices, and grow in kindness and understanding.

Eucharist (Grade 4)

Eucharist, or First Holy Communion, is a joyful celebration where children receive Jesus in the form of bread for the first time. It helps them feel closer to Jesus and to the community of faith. Sharing in the Eucharist reminds us of Jesus’ love and sacrifice and encourages us to live with gratitude, compassion, and service to others.

Confirmation (Grade 6)

Confirmation is the final Sacrament of Initiation. Through Confirmation, children receive the gift of the Holy Spirit in a special way, strengthening their faith and helping them live as followers of Jesus. It is a time to grow in confidence, take responsibility for their faith, and continue the journey of living out God’s love in their daily lives
