Dance and Drama Faculty

From the Co-ordinator of Dance and Drama

This year, Pittwater House had a number of students enter the Northern Beaches Film makers competition. 

We are so proud of all those Drama and Photography students who entered and took the time to engage creatively in the film making process showcasing their talents in acting, directing, script writing and postproduction as well as music composition. 

A group of talented Year 11 students were finalists in the competition that had over 150 short films submitted. 

This meant their film was shown on the big screen at Hoyts in Warringah Mall at the end of Term 3. 

Congratulations to the following students for their participation in the film titled 'Regarding the 'Light of Perspective': 

• Liam and Denam (G11), for their script writing, directing, editing and acting 
• Kayla (C11), for her cinematic acting 
• Pattana and Remi (G11), for their camera work 
• Samuel (G11), for his editing and music 

Congratulations also to Santiago (G7), whose film was also a finalist in the competition.
