French Language Study Tour – New Caledonia 2025

During the recent school holidays, a group of enthusiastic French students embarked on an unforgettable Language Study Tour to New Caledonia. Accompanied by Ms Duprat, Ms Conway and Mr Goldrick, the students spent seven days immersing themselves in the vibrant culture, language, and daily life of this beautiful French-speaking island.

Celebrating the Chinese Moon Festival

We acknowledge the Chinese Moon Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival which took place over the recent school holidays. This is one of the most important traditional celebrations in Chinese culture. The festival takes place when the moon is at its fullest and brightest, symbolising reunion, gratitude, and harmony. 

To celebrate this term, Junior School Mandarin classes will continue to build students’ understanding of Chinese culture and language by introducing Chinese paper cutting and mooncake-making activities. These experiences will help deepen students’ appreciation of this Chinese tradition.

Language Clubs Term 4 2025

Language Clubs offer a friendly and supportive environment for students who want to practise and improve their language skills in small groups. Students learn through a variety of engaging activities such as drama, storytelling, songs, crafts, games, books, technology, and film. Themes and topics vary depending on students’ interests and ability levels. Students are also welcome to attend Language Clubs for extra help with homework or upcoming assessments. Starting Week 2 Term 4.
