Co-Curricular - Junior Sport Stage 3

Welcome back to the final term of the year. I trust that everyone had an enjoyable and relaxing holiday, ready for the fast and furious pace that Term 4 provides. There is much happening in the Junior School with the:

  • Summer sport season re-commencing

  • Year 6 Reflection Day

  • Junior School House Swimming Carnival, Friday 14 November (Week 5)

  • Junior School Summer Sport and Representative Awards Evening

  • Speech Night, Wednesday 3 December.

So, with all this in mind, it’s important to be able to stay on top of all the information. With the beginning of Term 4, all parents and carers should have now moved over to the Parent Orbit App. This is now where you will be able to view all the information regarding your son’s sport commitments in the Junior School. Here you will see training days and Saturday game fixtures. This information will be updated regularly, and it is important that parents/carers check the details of their son(s) fixtures on a Friday evening. To view this information, it only takes a few simple steps.

  1. Make sure you have downloaded the Parent Orbit App

  2. Open and click on the e-diary

  3. Select your son’s name to view his information

  4. Use the Extra-Curricular Activities and Sport Fixtures filters.

You should then be able to see all the training sessions and fixtures for your son. If you have any issue with this, please contact IT Support at itsupport@spc.nsw.edu.au.

With the hot weather starting to ramp up, a reminder for boys to have full water bottles with them at training and games this term. All boys should have the training shirt, and it should be worn to all training sessions.

I look forward to the first round of summer sport this weekend, officially Round 7 of the Summer Competition and hope to hear many positive reports of our boys’ efforts.
