3/4 Community Healthy Living Day

Monday 11 September was our Years 3/4 Community Healthy Living Day.  During the day, our 3/4 students rotated around various health-related activities.

One of the activities was ‘Hygiene’ with our school nurse Denise. She informed us of healthy hygiene habits and demonstrated how to look after ourselves.

This session was followed by Andrew, a Physio at the Kyabram Hospital; he showed us stretches that help our bodies in various changes and stages of our lives.

The third activity was tennis 🎾 with David Starling. We had so much fun being busy and active with David and learning new skills!

Our fourth activity was with the Dietician Kristen from the Kyabram Hospital 🏥. She talked to us about healthy eating and how we can make better food choices🥛🍎🍓🫐🍞🧀🥚

Finally, our fifth activity was with KY Fit; in this activity, we were encouraged to try various healthy activities and sports events.

It was a wonderful day showing us how to promote healthy bodies.

The day concluded with healthy eating activities, and every student was gifted a show bag full of items that promote being healthy.

All students were very engaged and participated to the best of their ability!

What a fabulous way to finish Term 3!
