This award goes to Harry for being a Foundation Super STAR! Harry always tries his hardest and is to be congratulated on the effort he has taken to learn his high frequency words. Keep up all the great work you are doing Harry, and I am so lucky to have you in my class!

Charlotte A. - 1/2B

This award goes to Charlotte for her fantastic writing this week. Charlotte has done a fantastic job in drafting her procedural recipe, and was able to write the method for preparing a fruit salad independently. Congratulations on an amazing job with your writing Charlotte, keep it up!

Hannah R. - 1/2C

This award goes to Hannah for being an all round star of 1/2C. Hannah shows excellence in everything she does. She is always the first back to her table during learning sessions, organises herself quickly and works independently. Her ability to follow and execute instructions is outstanding. You are a wonderful addition to our class Hannah!

Mason D. - 1/2R

Congratulations Mason for working hard on improving your writing stamina. The effort seen reflects your determination spirit. I am extremely proud of how you have tackled writing your own healthy eating recipe through procedural writing. Keep up the wonderful work!

Bella L. - 3/4B

A special shout out to Bella this week for playing cooperatively with friends outside and speaking up when she noticed other people were not being included. Lovely to see your empathy shine through Bella!

Oscar O.- 3/4K

This award goes to Oscar for his great work during our Maths Explorer competition. Oscar worked with his group by sharing his ideas and listening to what others had to say. He applied the strategy we had practised of ‘Finding all of the Possibilities’ to solve some of the problems. Well done Oscar it was great to see you applying your learning.

Zahra G. - 3/4S

This award goes to Zahra for writing a fantastic narrative story, including dialogue between characters and a great storyline, for grade 1/2. Zahra wrote a story about a family beach day using new words she has been learning. Well done Zahra for your amazing work. Keep being a star!

Kim Z. - 5/6D

Kim is to be congratulated for her amazing sportsmanship during our Year 5/6 Tennis Round Robin day this week. Kim not only was encouraging towards her own teammates, but was often found giving other teams words of encouragement. This is what good sport is made of, Kim! Well done!

 Darcy B. - 5/6W

This award goes to Darcy for his outstanding teamwork and sportsmanship that he displayed at Hoop Time this week. The support and encouragement that Darcy demonstrated for his teammates is to be commended. Wonderful effort Darcy!

Lachlan S. - Visual Arts

This award goes to Lachlan for his creativity and effort when designing a steam punk animal. Lachlan regularly visited the Art room to add more details to his sculpture and experimented with a variety of materials to construct his brilliant dragonfly. You are a superstar Lachlan!

Cameron T. - Performing Arts

Congratulations on your best term in Music Cameron. You showed the whole class that you can play Do Re Mi from beginning to end. Very well done! 

Celeste R. - Mandarin
