In Maths, to start Term 4, we’ve been exploring location and transformation. We’ve resized shapes by enlarging them. We transformed shapes using rotation, reflection and translation. We created tessellating patterns. We’ve also explored features of maps and using different types of coordinate systems.

Arty says: I enjoyed making the map because it’s creative and we can use these skills in the real world. I find it fun!

Angelina says: I enjoyed making our own island map. I liked how it was it creative. I also enjoyed resizing my shape in pixels on the computer, it was a challenge!
