Koalas with Miss Khaika

What an amazing year it has been in the 1/2 Koalas. We got a new classroom (demountable) that was filled with lots of new things for us to use, enjoyed many excursions and celebrated lots of achievements in our learning.

Some of our favourite memories this year would have to be, our excursion to Killalea, Shellharbour City Library and the Minnamurra Rainforest. We enjoy learning in the outdoors. 

We got brand new laptops, one device for each student. i98FM visiting our classroom and gifting us with a voucher. We enjoyed new games, building blocks and some necessities for our everyday learning.

To top it all off, we have learnt and done so many incredible things inside the classroom. Our Talk For Writing unit on boomboxes, daily maths review, our various art lessons - especially the one we did on penguins, Italian with Mrs Maranesi, Music with Mel and of course our reading rotation time where we got to use technology, work with our friends and some phonics activities.

I am beyond proud of each student, we have created some core memories, supported our peers and built strong friendships.

Well done Koalas. It has been a magificent year.
