The Principal Team

Although the weather was a little concerning the rain held off most of the time at Arrabri Lodge in Warburton, so our Year 4 students enjoyed the great activities of their camp. When I visited them on Thursday afternoon they were clearly having a great time. Of course, I indulged their request to be lifted into the air on the giant swing. Thank you so much to our Year 4 teachers and parent helpers for their care and support over the three days. Such a success!

This week we received a heartening email from a couple who came across a group of our students over the weekend. It was kind of them to take the time to contact us and we thought we would share this feedback with you. Our students really are terrific.

"We thought you would like to hear about our recent encounter with seven of your students whilst travelling from the city on the Sandringham train on Sunday afternoon. We were very impressed at their excellent behaviour and their confidence in engaging us in conversation and their politeness. We learnt quite a bit about their sporting outing, their interests and their ideas . They were a credit to their parents and to the school.

It was so nice to see such enthusiastic youngsters."

Parent Payments

The concept of parent payments generated much discussion after our recent parent -information evenings. Currently we have received payments from just over 50% of our families so responses are slowly increasing

Thank you everyone for your attention to these payments. We politely request that parents support our Parent Payments where possible so that we can continue to provide a the broadest possible range of resources for your child and our entire school. Whilst we appreciate the funds received from the Department which provide support for the core Victorian Curriculum, Parent Payments enable your child's learning to be further enriched via our strong local programs. 

School Council appreciates your attention to these payments. Payment options are Qkr, BPAY and Credit Card. We wish to reassure you that personal payment arrangements can be accommodated by contacting Cath Lamb, Business Manager.
