Welcome back to another edition of the Admin Corner!
This week we would like to remind everyone that our Lost Property Box has a substantial amount of clothing and lost property waiting to be claimed. There are quite a few winter jackets and jumpers that are unnamed waiting for their owners to claim them. If your child is missing uniform, please have a look at our Lost Property box located in the foyer near the office, and PLEASE REMEMBER TO LABEL ALL UNIFORM ITEMS.
As we are coming out of the cold winter months, we would like to remind families that as of the start of next term (Monday the 2nd of October) sun hats will become compulsory when playing outside and during PE lessons. Please ensure all learners have their hats clearly labelled. GWPS hats are available for purchase at our Uniform shop. (Opening hours: Mondays 8.30am – 10.30am and Wednesdays 2.00pm – 4.00pm) Purchases from our Uniform shop are also available online through our supplier, please click on:
And finally, just a friendly reminder about attendances next term, if you are planning a family holiday or travelling overseas before the last day of term (Wednesday 20th of Dec) we ask that you please send an email to our Glen Waverley email address glen.waverley.ps@education.vic.gov.au with the last day of attendance and also the return date next year.
If you are planning on not returning to GWPS next year, could we also please request an email sent through to the Glen Waverley email address as well.
