A School Production report from Aalam (Year 4)
The wild production
“The production is starting!” As soon as Mr Catalano said that my stomach was in knots, my mind is everywhere unfortunately it was bad thoughts. I wondered if the bad thoughts would go away from me. So, I started playing with my friends, we we’re making dominoes with Jenga blocks soon we knocked it down.
I joined my other friends they kept asking me to go away just then the bad thoughts swarmed again. I sat down, but I can’t help it, the bad thoughts we’re getting a hold of me. I am almost cried, little tears sobbed down my face. Just then Mrs Marescaux said, “It is time to go!”
The tiny tears absorb in my cheeks as we moved into the theatre. Soon I felt the bad thoughts were gone and the good thoughts came! I felt way better about the production.
Then the moment that we were waiting for had come, before I knew it, we were on stage. I remembered this stage it was were yesterday. It was the same as when we did our Prep production - nothing had changed it was the same after 5 years ago.
We started dancing. I could see my family in the gigantic crowd, my dad was taking selfies of my family and me. When we finished, we went back to The Counts.
I was so proud of myself. It was wonderful to see what I accomplished. I went jumping in the car with joy. My parents were so happy they bought food from my favourite fast food restaurant McDonald's. It was so fun. I wish we could have production every single year!

Dear Sir,
I would like to apply for the position at the Amazing Aquatic Dream Weaver. This job is the perfect opportunity for me to follow my passion and earn money at the same time (Not really that I care about the money bit). Allow me to tell you more about me and why I am the perfect fit for this job.
Firstly, I have a creative mind that likes to think outside the box. I grew up with lots of pets like 2 dogs, 1 cat, 5 fish and 3 parrots. I always thought I had an ability to make animals fall in love with me. Once a stray cat followed me home because I was patting its back. I am also really good at making friends. My parents also drowned me in jobs and responsibilities since I was the oldest child of 5 kids and 11 pets. But I managed them very well.
Secondly, I am a very patient person. I am a huge fan of adventures and love going on adventures. I have a passion for working with animals and I am really experienced. I spent 3 years training after I graduated from a marine life workshop. Over those years I deepened my swimming skills, built a stronger connection with marine animals and I learned how to bond with marine animals.
To conclude, I am the perfect fit for this position because I love animals and have a passion for this job. I hope you consider my application.

Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Shriya. I would like to apply for the job of Aquatic Dream Weaver. I would like to apply because I love animals and I stay calm with them.
It is a great job and I would love to get it. I have always been gentle with the animals like when I go to the aquarium I make sure to not scare them. I love to make animal friends and since it is one of my hobbies I really hope to get this opportunity of a lifetime. I try to make a bond with the animals and I try to build trust. I have great communication skills. I encourage the animals so they feel happy and proud.
Having this job means that I can help the animals and teach them new and interesting talents that people will enjoy as well as the animals. I can do that by taking it step by step, communication and letting them have fun along the way. I can train them to perfection with a performance that will be the best anybody could have seen. I have patience to take this job as well as great skills. I never give up even if things aren't going exactly the way I want it. With all of these skills I can make a perfect friend to the animals.
These animals will surprise you with their never seen before talents. I will guide them all the way so they can achieve success. Even the seals and dolphins can work together to make a stunning performance. I am ready for all the challenges to show what the seals and dolphins are capable of. As this journey will continue the animals will become skilful as well as trained.
You will need someone who is a super swimmer which I am. I can provide you with an example. I am in the highest level in swimming and only a very few people are on that level. Not even professionalists can swim as fast as me. The animals can make a performance which will make the audience stand there shocked. The audience will be surprised with the best performance ever! With the animals having a touch of fun they will persevere hard.
It is a job that involves responsibility and care which I can do. Responsibility is a great way to show how much I can be trusted because if I am responsible it means that I can be in charge which includes trust. It is a big responsibility and I bet I am a perfect person for that. There aren't many people who can complete a big task.
So I am the best person for your amazing and interesting job. The animals will be the most delighted to see me. Thank you for reading my letter about why I should get the job. As a reminder, I am ready to take the job and all of the responsibilities. I believe that the animals will be delighted to see me and will want me. I am a super fast swimmer and I can make the best performance that will make the audience shocked!
