Thank you
A huge thank you to our beautiful community for all their kind words, cards and gifts for Principals Day. Ms Scott, Mr Fielding and I were treated to a lovely morning tea by our staff and the school captains.
Australian Maths Competition
Congratulations to all the students who participated in the Australian Maths competition on Tuesday. Peeking over their shoulder, I could see that there were many challenging maths problems they were working. During the hour they were very focused, and I was impressed with their persistence. I look forward to seeing their results when we receive them next term.
District Athletics
Congratulations also to all the students who competed in the district athletics. I heard that our students were well behaved, encouraged each other and represented our school with pride. Well done to the students who made it through to the district competition. Thank you to Ms. Davies for all the organisation and to Mrs Carabott and Mrs Davies for supporting our students yesterday. Look out for next week’s newsletter for more information and pictures.
Kinder Visits
It was lovely to see children from our local kinders visiting this week. They visit with their kinder educators providing them with a supportive introduction to a school environment. We look forward to meeting more of our kinder students soon.
Don’t forget…If you have not enrolled your kinder aged child and they are starting school next year please do so as soon as possible so we can start planning for our Transition Program which occurs once a week during Term 4.
Kind Regards,
