How It Works:

Students will visit the Book Fair during the week with their class. They will be given a Scholastic Wish List where they can record the titles and prices of any books they would like to purchase. This Wish List with then be taken home and families can decide if they would like to follow through with a purchase.

  • Online Sales:

You can purchase books online using the Scholastic Wish List you child/children bring home from school, after their class visits the Book Fair.

Online Purchase Instructions:

  1. Go to scholastic.com.au/payment
  2. Click 'Book Fairs'
  3. Enter amount and pay
  4. Record receipt number on back of Wish List
  5. Your child then takes this payment record back to school, chooses books at the Fair and takes receipt number to cashier as payment.

Please Note:

If you do not return the Wish List with the purchase details, the school has no record that you have purchased any books. Please drop your Wish Lists with purchase information at the school office or take to a teacher at the Book Fair during Morning Sales.

Please make sure the title/s of the book/s you have purchased on the Wish List are clearly written so the school can organise and deliver the books to your child.

Aladdin Program Cover Competition – Congratulations!

Well done to all students who took the time to create an entry for our Aladdin program cover competition!

We received a wide range of incredible submissions, with students showing outstanding creativity and skill. Our Performing Arts Captains, along with our school Art teachers, generously gave their time to carefully review and select the winning entries. The winners will be announced at this Friday’s assembly, and all entries will be proudly displayed on the Performing Arts room windows.

If you entered the competition, please visit Ms Pholi in the Performing Arts room to collect your original artwork and receive a small thank you for your effort. Congratulations again to everyone who participated — we are so proud of your creativity and enthusiasm!

To celebrate the winning house, students in Mitchell House are invited to wear a touch of yellow on Friday August 29th to celebrate their win in Term 2.

Any questions please contact Max Pretty via the office.

Thanks and good luck for house points in Term 3!

Volunteering at BPS

Beaumaris Primary School highly values our community and the support we receive from parents and carers in many different aspects of school life. We welcome the opportunity for parents and carers to volunteer within our school across a range of different school-based activities.

In previous years, we have held information sessions to provide volunteers with the required information in order to volunteer. This year, we have created a digital Volunteer Handbook and an online induction process to ensure that the information is accessible to parents/carers at a time that suits them.

If you would like to volunteer at Beaumaris Primary School, the process will now be:

  • Read the below BPS Volunteer Handbook, which includes the below policies and documents:
    • BPS Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy
    • BPS Child Safety Code of Conduct Policy
    • BPS Child Safety Responding and Reporting Policy
    • BPS Volunteers Policy
    • BPS Volunteer Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Induction Handbook.

  • Complete this online form, which includes both the Volunteer OHS Induction Checklist and the Volunteering at Beaumaris Primary School Questionnaire (https://forms.office.com/r/X1JfFrAPsa).

  • Email a scanned copy or provide in person for photocopying a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) card to the office staff.

The above process will need to be completed prior to volunteering at Beaumaris Primary School. This process can be completed at any stage throughout the year, at a time that suits you.

We thank you for your interest in volunteering and supporting our students, staff and school community.
