Clyde North Campus News

Welcome to Term 3!
We hope you had a restful and relaxing break and are feeling recharged for what promises to be a busy and exciting Term 3. Welcome back to all our students! With just 9 weeks ahead, it’s a shorter term—but certainly not a quiet one!
For our Year 12 students, this is the last full school term before they graduate. It will be packed with revision, exams, and final preparations. We encourage all members of our community to support them as they navigate this final stage of their school journey.
Term 3 highlights include:
The School Production - Westside Story
Futures Expo
Subject Selections for Yr 9 and Yr 10 students
Yr 12 Student Learning Conferences
House Feast Days
SIS & House Competitions
Year 12 Practice Exams …and much more!
VCE-VM Students Serving the Community
The Term has already had a busy start for our VCE-VM students who, on Thursday ventured to Frankston Beach, to participate in a beach clean up activity with the Frankston Beach Patrol 3199. Our students collected 8kg’s of plastic!!!!
This was followed by a visit to the Dolphin Research Institute in Hastings where they learned about our local marine life and the damage that pollution causes to Port Phillip and Westernport Bay!
This excursion was organised by Mateo Sucic and Adorjan Forgacs as a part of their Sustainable Development Goals Project where they were required to educate a user group under the topic of; clean water and sanitation. Well done gents and well done to our VCE - VM team of staff and students!!!
Futures Expo – Tuesday 29 July
Our Futures Expo takes place next Tuesday and is a crucial event for students in Years 8 to 12 as they begin making important decisions about future subject choices and pathways. We ask that students are fully prepared to ask questions, gather information, and explore their options. For our Year 7 students Tuesday is a student-free day.
The Subject Selection process follows the Expo. It’s essential that students attend their interviews with a clear understanding of the subjects they wish to choose, these decisions help inform staffing and future subject offerings.
Reminders & Housekeeping
The start of a new term is a great opportunity to remind everyone of some important housekeeping matters.
Getting the small things right helps us all have a smoother, safer, and more respectful school environment and aligns us to our school’s ROCKS.
Late to School
If students arrive late, they must sign in immediately at the office. This is a health and safety requirement. As parents, please contact the College to let us know of your child’s late arrival.
Uniform
We understand the weather is colder, but please remember that non-uniform items such as hoodies, black pants, scarves, beanies, and non-school bags are not permitted. These items will be confiscated, and consequences may apply. If there is a genuine reason your child cannot wear the full uniform, we ask that you provide a note or speak to their House Leader.
A full list of our College Uniform items and Uniform Shop opening hours can be found https://www.stpeters.vic.edu.au/school-policies-forms/uniform/
If you are experiencing difficulty obtaining any uniform items, please contact your child’s House Leader so we can assist.
Thank you for your cooperation and ongoing support.
Here’s to a fantastic Term 3 filled with learning, growth, and success. Let’s make it count.
