What a joy it was to welcome our Grade 3 and 4 students back from their camp adventure! We're confident they've returned with a sense of accomplishment, full of cherished memories and new inside jokes. These three-day, two-night trips are a powerful way for our students to develop greater independence and strengthen their collaborative skills outside the classroom. We're incredibly grateful to the dedicated teachers and parent volunteers who made this meaningful experience possible. Their commitment is what truly allows these opportunities for growth and discovery to happen.

Keeping Our Students Safe

Highton Primary School is dedicated to creating a safe and child-friendly environment where all students feel secure and valued. The school's Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy outlines the commitment to protecting students and details the processes and practices for ensuring their safety. This policy applies to all school staff, volunteers, contractors, and school council members, and covers all school environments, both physical and online. To ensure the policy remains effective and comprehensive, the school is seeking input from families and staff. We invite all parents to provide feedback to the School Council to help inform our ongoing strategies for student safety and wellbeing.

Furthermore, the below listed up to date child safety and wellbeing related HPS Policies are published on our website. We also have other policies which you may find helpful. If you have feedback, please contact the office
