Vermont Secondary College has several wonderful collections available to students and staff. To access the library catalogue, our Audio and ebook library, Clickview or a digital edition of The Age newspaper go to the star icon in Compass menu.> Scroll down.

L1, Tuesday Recess. Students are welcome to bring their own reading material or take advantage of the wonderful selection of books and reading materials in the Library.

Minecraft for Education Club Start Monday Feb12

C6 Monday lunchtime. All students who would like to attend please ensure you have the Minecraft for Education app installed on your device and have your current eduPass details; email ending with @schools.vic.edu.au and password. Students will have their eduPass details sent out in week 2 or 3 of the term. Please note there are limited spaces in C6.

Fabulous Foodies Club

Library Tuesday Recess. Junior students who love cooking and food get together to discuss various recipes, cuisines and create fun activities to promote healthy eating.

Prep time: 5 min. Cook time: 5 min

Ingredients:

Plain Flour 1 ½ cup

Milk 1 cup

Eggs 2

Sugar ¼ cup

Strawberries 4

Banana 1

a bit Chocolate

A little bit of oil or butter

Steps:

1) Mix all the dry ingredients (flour and sugar) in a bowl.

2) Put all the wet ingredients in the bowl and mix it together well.

3) Pre-heat the pan with a little oil or butter

4) Pour the pancake batter in the pan.

5) Wait 1-2 minutes to form bubbles on the pan cake.

6) Flip the pancake and wait another 1-2 minutes.

7) Make 3 pancakes in the same way and put them on a separate plate.

8) Take a chopping board and get the banana and strawberries and cut them up.

9) Place them on the pancake.

10) Use the chocolate to add extra details
