Year 7 Macedon Students and Parents

Hi and welcome to VCE Macedon. Ms Mitchell and I are sharing the Year 7 student manager role in 2024. Alexis Mitchell is available Tuesday and Friday and Andrea Freeman is available on Mondays and Wednesdays.

We are pleased to let you know that we have a number of exciting activities coming up for your children.

The first is the Swimming Sports which takes place on Wednesday 14th February. All Year 7 students are expected to attend and participate in at least one event. Points are awarded for participation and Macedon needs to win this one as a great start to the year.

Macedon students are then on their way to Marysville for our three day camp. This is a first time for me and I am looking forward to it. It is a chance to meet other students in Macedon house and really get to know other people.

We then move to the Athletics sports on Friday 7th March. Again, there are many events for students to participate in and PE classes are focusing on various track and field events in the upcoming weeks. Participation in events earns house points and I’m looking forward to Macedon students competing in many events.

Finally, on 15th March, we have our Year 7 picnic where the winners of our duck competition will also be announced. More detail on this will arrive soon, so please stay tuned.

Parents are welcome to attend our sporting events and also the Year 7 picnic.
