The level of student engagement thus far in STEAM this year has been outstanding! Focusing on the M(aths) in STEAM, here are some incredible statistics:
- 100% of Year 1 students created Media Artwork (using Canva) to communicate a message. The messages were linked to their current Big Question and focused on ways to feel safe in the classroom/ yard or strategies for get back into the Green Zone.
- 91 students (in Years 5/6) made 1,087 designs in ONE week using Makers Empire (3D design app). Most of these designs were completed in the students' own time outside of school.
- 100% of Year 3/4 students are enjoying the Battle Bots program (well I may have made this one up but I'm sure it's close to 100%).
