Grounds Update

Solar panels

Over 50% of our school's energy use is coming from our amazing solar panels!

From 20-26 February (including days over 36 degrees) our school's panels achieved the following: 

• CO2 reduction: 2,906 kg
• Power yield: 2.642 MWh

We will continue to update you on the panel's performance throughout the yea

Library 

Lunchtimes in the library are popular for lots of our children seeking a quiet retreat or a place to feed their curiosity. Chrissy has lots of ways to engage the children and we encourage you to ask your child what book they've borrowed lately. 

Flag donation

Our flag poles are looking much happier with new flags donated by James Newbury, Member for Brighton.

Brickwood bathrooms

Our new yellow bathroom is up and running for use by all students at the school. You can read more about it in the Wellbeing update of this newsletter. 

Green zone 

The green zone is hosting students every day in different ways including 1:1, whole year level and small group sessions. 

At recess and lunchtime on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays Morgan opens the room for all ages to colour and play.
