Welcome Back to a New Year of Teaching and Learning at Valkstone Primary School.

I am excited for the year ahead and the opportunity to share and showcase some of the fantastic learning happening amongst our teachers and students. 

Welcome to our Prep students and those families new to Valkstone Primary School. The Preps have had a great start to the year and are settling into school routines well and are already learning lots of new things.

Our Year 1 to Year 6 classes have been buzzing with enthusiasm and energy as the students have settled into their new classes and begun building their learning community. Teachers have provided lots of opportunities for students to get to know their new classmates and establish themselves in the learning routines.

Library Update

As our school library has moved location for 2024, we have needed to purchase new shelving for some of the books. The library will open for student borrowing once the new shelving arrives and the books are unpacked. 

We are anticipating this will be in the next couple of weeks.
