Welcome back, families! 

We hope you had a fantastic summer break. As we transition into the new school year, I’m thrilled to share with you an exciting opportunity for our young writers through Glen Eira Youth Services.

Starting in Term 2 is the Hand Writer’s Tale program for young people aged 10 -17! Led by award-winning author Gabriel Bergmoser, this creative writing program will ignite your child's imagination and teach them how to craft captivating stories. Participants will learn essential skills like sentence structure, character development and various literary techniques.

But that's not all! Don't forget about Drop-in, the dynamic social program run by Glen Eira City Council where young people can engage in various activities throughout the year. From gaming sessions to gardening workshops, Drop-in offers a safe space for youth to develop social skills and connect with their community.

Check out the 2024 Drop-in themes and join them every Monday and Wednesday from 4:00-5.30 p.m. for a fun-filled experience!
