EISM updates for Term 3

YEAR 7

The Year 7s have kicked off their second term of EISM matches, proudly representing Kilvington in football, netball, indoor soccer and table tennis. With seven rounds of sport this term, teams are competing for the top spot on the ladder and the chance to take home the pennant.

It's been a strong start for our Year 7s, and we’re thrilled to see them improve and embrace the challenges that come with team sports. As they continue to develop their skills and teamwork, we look forward to their final season of summer sports in Term 4.

YEARS 8 AND 9

The Years 8 and 9 sporting teams have continued to dominate the competition, with 12 of our teams currently in contention for the semi-finals as the season approaches its final three rounds.

This term, Kilvington is proudly represented in volleyball, indoor soccer, table tennis, basketball and football across both girls and boys teams.

The season spans eight rounds over Terms 2 and 3, culminating in the semi-finals on 5 September, followed by the grand finals the following Thursday. We always welcome and encourage parents and friends to come and support our teams, especially as we head into finals.

YEAR 12

This week marked the final match for our senior students, and for some of our Year 12s, it was their last time donning a Kilvington jersey. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our Year 12 athletes for their unwavering effort, leadership and support throughout their journey at Kilvington.

As the season progresses, 10 of our teams have secured spots in the semi-finals, which begin next Wednesday, with the grand finals set for 28 August. Netball has been a standout sport this year, with both our boys and girls A and B teams dominating the competition and securing the top positions on the ladder — a truly remarkable achievement.

Senior School House Cross Country

The Senior School Cross Country was a fantastic day filled with excitement as students took on the 3km course. Their House spirit and camaraderie were on full display, making it a memorable event.

Fysh House dominated the competition, and the top 10 boys and girls from each age group were selected to represent Kilvington at the EISM Cross Country finals later this term.

Congratulations to our champions and House Fysh for being our overall winners for 2024!
