Religious Education Coordinator

On Wednesday, we celebrated the feast of Saint Brigid as she is our patron saint.

We joined together as a whole school community in prayer in MacKillop Hall to reflect on Saint Brigid’s life, especially her calling to spread the Word of God.

We learned that Saint Brigid knew the importance of sharing what she had with others.

We know that we need to be generous with the things that we have, too. One of the greatest gifts that we have here in our school is our faith and belief in God. We should share that with others just as Saint Brigid did. During our liturgy, we prayed to God asking for His help to spread the Good News in our community of faith. 

Our School Prayer:

St Brigid Mary of Ireland, 

ask for us all today,

The courage to do God’s deeds, 

whatever the world may say.

The grace to be strong and gentle, 

the grace to be firm and true,

The grace to be faithful always to God, 

to Mary and you.
