Harmony Day - Everyone Belongs

On Monday afternoon, students and staff celebrated Harmony Day through a variety of activities, including learning about how different cultures have contributed to Australia through dance, games, food (spices), and crafts, such as weaving.

Many thanks to Emily for her leadership in planning this activity and to all staff for their delivery of activities. You can see more detail in our Classroom News page of the newsletter.

Thank you

Thank you to everyone for their support during Tuesday's strike action and also with ensuring a smooth and efficient school photo day on Wednesday.  A reminder that orders can still be placed via the Compass Portal, though until the 31st March.  Additional charges apply after this time.

Many thanks to Kathryn and the Year 4s for providing these fun activities.

End of Term - Early Finish

As next Thursday, 2nd April, is the last day of term, school will finish at the earlier time of 2.30pm.  To celebrate the end of term, SRC are inviting all students to participate in an Easter-themed dress-up day! We will not have a gold-coin collection, on this occasion, but staff will gratefully accept chocolate donations!  Students not wanting to dress up, are welcome to come dressed in school uniform or casual dress.

Out of School Hours Care

Jacara and the team at OSHC continue to provide an engaging and caring program each day before and after school. Next week's program involves splat and spray painting, obstacle courses, Zumba and making pinwheels. OSHC Bookings are essential, so please contact our service for more details, or lodge your booking through the OSHC page of this newsletter.

Bulb Fundraiser - last day today

We are holding a fundraiser to purchase some new sports equipment. Click here to view and order the selection of bulbs available. 40% of all money raised goes to the school and bulbs are delivered to your door anywhere in Australia. Orders close today so if you have any gifts to send or need some colour popping up in your garden this spring, please consider this to support our school.

We are also seeking expressions of interest regarding donations for a fundraising raffle and auction later in the year. Please contact the school if you are able to contribute in any way.
