Dear families and friends,

This will be our last newsletter for 2023 - I can’t quite believe where the year has gone. I hope that you receive this newsletter in good spirits, as we gradually ease into the summer, the Christmas period and the many ‘catch ups’ that occur at this time.

We have had such HUGE success in 2023 with children thriving, educators feeling support and joy whilst feeling equipped with the Curriculum and needs of the role. This has been reflected in our data we received late in the year. Our NAPLAN, Essential assessments and core assessment tasks show growth in all areas - this is to be celebrated and acknowledged. The hard work of all makes this happen.

I want to thank our school Board for your commitment and contribution to our school. Our family engagement group and playgroup is building and we have many new eager faces looking forward to joining us.

I hope  children, staff and parents appreciate the break and enjoy the timely opportunity to relax, reflect on the school year and think ahead to the next one.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the educators and support staff for all of their hard work and dedication. I would also like to thank you once again for your support and for placing your trust in us to look after and educate your children.

We are proud of the achievements of our Year 6 children and know that we send them on to their new high schools having had some wonderful, memorable learning experiences, with strong friendships and a wellbeing toolkit for when things might get challenging.

Finally, thank you to the children for all of their efforts and for making this such a wonderful school. Look forward to seeing you all at the Christmas celebration night.

Gemma
