FN Mudgee Donates 51 Christmas Puddings

Christmas has arrived early at FN Mudgee (NSW) where the team has taken delivery of 51 Lions Christmas puddings that it intends donating to the We Care Community Shop for a Better Christmas. Radio 2MG Mudgee posted a note to its Facebook page in appreciation!

Postie Bike Dash Raises Over $385,000 for Disadvantaged Kids

First National’s intrepid supporters of Variety’s Postie Bike Dash, David Doherty of FN Tamworth (NSW) and David Small of FN Coffs Coast (Coffs Harbour, NSW) safely completed their 2023 Postie Bike Dash – with David Doherty participating and FN Foundation sponsoring the ride for the 7th time! This year’s ‘Dash’ succeeded in raising over $385,000 for disadvantaged kids.

Variety called out First National’s support, saying ‘we wanted to take a moment to thank the amazing team at First National for believing in the kids we support and helping wave the Dash Start Line flag every year. A special thank you to Ed Atkinson, Stewart Bunn, David Doherty and David Small.’

This year, Variety welcomed Murry Conran, Principal of First National Real Estate Ulladulla to breakfast at Budawang School in Milton, where Variety granted $3,233 for the purchase of a range of sensory swings.

‘Since the First National Wascally Wabbits team was formed in 2019, they have raised over $117,000 and have their sights set on a trophy next year. We can’t wait to see them again soon!’ said Variety.

 While Variety’s Postie Bike Dash has enjoyed the sponsorship of FN Foundation for 7 years, a little-known fact is that all riders pay for their own accommodation and fuel costs, plus they take on the risks of a 1,500 km ride on older style Australia Post Honda ‘Step-Through’ motor bikes.
