The end of the year is almost here for 2023! The past week we have been consolidating reading skills and strategies that we have covered this year.
In reading, students watched visual clips while consolidating concepts such as summarising and inferring with activities based on what they had viewed.
In Writing, students completed a range of different writing activities based on the book 'Carla's Sandwich'. It was great to see students make their own crazy sandwich creation based on the book and create a procedure on how to make them.
In Maths, we revised the topics of area, multiplication, angles, mapping and symmetry. Students enjoyed playing games and solving puzzles which involved using the skills they learnt throughout the year.
Students enjoyed participating in Wheels Day earlier this week and riding, rolling and skating their way around the school. This was for a very important cause, with all money raised going towards making wheelchairs for those in need in countries around the world. See some pictures below.
