Group 1

Term 1 has provided beautiful learning experiences for Group 1 in terms of Identity and Community. “All About Me” Theme has been an avenue for our little learners to learn more about themselves in terms of responding to their names, identifying photos of themselves, knowing their peers, learning about body parts, and labelling their emotions. It has been amazing to witness the beautiful connections and friendships that have been made. Through different play and social activities such as small group choice-making routine and group circle times, they have learnt to cooperate with others and negotiate roles and relationships. They have shown a growing enthusiasm to engage in and contribute to shared play experiences. They have expressed themselves through choices of play engagements or toys and have become more willing to wait for a turn or to share. Respecting our environment is another important learning this term and we are proud of our little learners for showing an increasing respect for our environment by helping in packing away learning resources after rotations and play sessions.
