Group 10 

We have had a wonderful start to our learning year in Group 10. All students continue to build on their overall academic learning ability and consolidating their understanding of classroom events, routines and expectations. 

Throughout Term 1, we have focused on the learning theme of 'All About Me', where students have explored their own identity and cultural background which assists in developing a sense of self. They are building on their understanding of themselves by viewing/recognising their name and photo, as well as learning about their physical attributes, interests and likes. 

It has been fantastic to see students developing a greater social awareness of both their fellow peers and familiar staff members. These positive social interactions are being encouraged through group activities, such as communication circle, structured turn-taking games and social play-based learning.

Well done to everyone on an excellent start to the year! We hope you all have a fantastic Easter break and look forward to seeing you all in Term 2.
