Presidents Message

Dear Parents & Carers,

Thank you to all parents, carers, and school staff who joined our Term 1 community morning tea on Wednesday! We had a great turnout, and I, for one, really enjoyed the chance to mingle with people from all parts of the community. Special thanks to the participants who shared food with the community, Cameron and the school team for their support, Carrie and Joe who ran the uniform pop-up shop, and of course, a big shout-out to Annie for running the event for us as the new Events Coordinator.

For those who couldn't make it, or if an afternoon is a more feasible time to join us, the next event in Term 2 will be an afternoon tea on Thursday 26 June, from 2:15 pm to 3:30 pm.

Next, I am delighted to let you know that with the uniform shop's transition to Lowes going well from both an operational and financial perspective, our CPS families are also happy with this new channel for purchasing new uniform items. Building on that, the P&C is in the process of preparing a second-hand shop and item donation operations. If you have uniform items that are no longer needed, please keep in mind that we plan to launch this during Term 2. The P&C will provide more information when school resumes, so stay tuned.

Lastly, I wish everyone in the CPS community a wonderful school break and safe travels to those getting away from Sydney. See you around school in two and a half weeks!
