Hello everyone,
What a fantastic start to the term we’ve had! I have been really impressed with the way students have demonstrated teamwork and positivity! The weather has been really hot which meant some of our classes were held in the MPR where we enjoyed the coolness of the air-conditioning!
Students participated in team-building games that highlighted the importance of teamwork, encouragement, and kindness. These activities allowed the kids to showcase their collaboration skills while having fun. There was a real emphasis on the importance of listening and following directions for the well-being and safety of everyone.
Last week, Year 3-6 focused on improving their shot put techniques in preparation for the upcoming athletics trials. It was a great opportunity to work together, build confidence, and develop their athletic abilities.
Kind regards,
Tallulah Peacock
We wish our wonderful swimmers all the best on Wednesday 19th February at the Bayside District Trials.
Mrs Carr will be there to cheer you on and we can’t wait to see how you go! Best of luck!

This year, we will be running a St. Brendan’s Athletics Day on Thursday 13th March between 9:00am and 12:50pm. This will be a house event and will allow all of our students to participate in track and field events. It will also allow us the opportunity to select an Athletics Team to represent St Brendan's at the Bayside District Athletics - Track and Field Days. Students will be practising all Athletics events during Physical Education lessons leading up to the day.
If you are available and would like to help run an event we would love your support. Please give me a call, email or come and have a chat (Tuesdays, Wednesdays) and I can allocate you a role.
Thanks so much!
Please note that students from F-3 will have their own Athletics Day later on in the year with the Parish Schools.

We are very excited to announce that our Year 1/2s will experience four weeks of fun and engaging soccer activities during their scheduled weekly PE lessons beginning next week. The Primary School program is designed to introduce boys and girls of all abilities, to the fundamental skills of football and physical literacy. Sessions focus on learning new skills, being active, and potentially unearthing the next generation of heroes in the Subway Socceroos or CommBank Matildas. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact me.
