Writing Club

Our Before-School Writing Program is off to an amazing start this term, and the Year 3 and Year 5 students are absolutely rocking it! 🎉 They’ve been having a blast while expanding sentences with the 5 W's (Who, what, when, where, why) and learning to craft compound sentences and master the art of using coordinating conjunctions—you know, those little words that bring sentences together like and, but, and so! 

With lots of explicit instruction and independent writing time, the students are gaining confidence and improving their writing skills, all while having fun along the way. This program is also serving as a great preparation for the upcoming NAPLAN assessments.

We’re so proud of how much progress everyone has made so far. Keep up the great work, writers! We can’t wait to see all the awesome things you’ll achieve! ✨
