Principals Message

Thank you to all the students and their families that attended the Swimming Carnival. It was a great afternoon and evening with Uroly narrowly defeating Gillenbah as the champion swimming house. Special mention goes to Jessica Wright and Jaylan Abraham as the Champion of Champions, Matari Johnson for winning the bombing competition and Huxley Coelli for winning the bellyflop competition.

Thank you to all the parents and families who attended the Welcome to year 7 BBQ last week. Families and staff had the opportunity to meet and put faces to names. At Narrandera High School, we value families taking time in their busy schedules to participate in activities such as this BBQ.

Tuesday night is another opportunity for parents and families to have conversations with staff about the progress of their Year 10, 11 and 12 students. Bookings can be made on line using the Sentral parent portal. Please call the front office if you are having any difficulties making bookings.

 We have a number of ways that we communicate with parents and families. For excursions, Narrandera High School uses School Bytes which allows caregivers to give permission and pay on line for excursions. For our organisation, permission and payments have a deadline which is, in general, 48 hours before the excursion (please note – for larger excursions, the deadline may be much earlier). Caregivers can indicate that their child will not be attending the excursion on School Bytes. I ask that caregivers respond in a prompt manner to assist us in the organisation of these excursions.
