From the Deputy Principal

School Student Travel

Students in possession of a School Opal card must tap on and tap off every time when using public transport to travel to and from school.  Transport for NSW collects information from taps on and off to support coordination, planning and policy development for transport, transport sevices and transport infrastructure.

Parents are asked to remind their sons of the requirement to use their School Opal card when getting on and off buses as well as trains.  Students should also follow the Opal card terms of use and only use their School Opal card to travel to and from school.

Students are expected to always follow the Student Code of Conduct when on public transport and to be polite and courteous to the bus driver and follow their reasonable instructions.

Please see the attached letter from Transport for NSW for further information.

For a limited time they are waiving the $10 replacement fee for lost School Opal cards (where applicable).

We have been advised by Transport for NSW that they will be visiting the college on Tuesday 4 March to remind students of the need to use their School Opal card prior to boarding buses and also to provide information about how to replace a lost card for free.

Please see attached document which gives details on replacing a lost School Opal card for free for a limited time.
