Performing Arts

What a fantastic start we have had to the year in the Music Room! All classes have settled back in and are enjoying our school-wide singing focus. We hope to demonstrate some of what we have learned later in the term so please watch this space for details to come.

On Friday, at our first rehearsal, I was moved to tears by our beautiful sounding choir. You are going to love listening to them! As soon as we are ready we will perform at an assembly. But, I also hope we can go further afield with these incredible voices!

There are still a few places left in the choir. If your child is in Grade 3-6 and enjoys singing and performing then our next rehearsal is on Thursday at 1:35pm. Students are still welcome to join, so please encourage them to give it a go. I only ask that if they do commit, it is for a term at a time. 

Below is the rehearsal schedule for Term 1, it generally has a fortnightly rotation. Students in the choir have also been given a paper copy to help remind them.
