Newlands at the Lacrosse Primary Schools Championship

Last Friday, our students proudly represented Newlands Primary School at the Lacrosse Primary Schools Championship and they were outstanding. A huge thank you to Sarah, Roger, Poppy and Kaya for coordination and support and for spending the day with our teams.

Both NPS teams showed grit, teamwork and sportsmanship against schools that had been competing in interschool matches throughout the year. 

The Yellow Team (Almost Falafels) impressed everyone with their determination and team-first attitude. 

The Blue Team brought the trademark Brunswick Lacrosse energy: competitive, fearless and full of heart. They battled through six tight games, finishing with 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 close losses.

Well done to all our students! You represented Newlands with pride!
