Passion Projects

Last week, with the beginning of our Step Up Program, our Passion Projects commenced for our 2026 Year 8 students. Held every Wednesday afternoon, these classes give students the opportunity to explore personal interests and creativity beyond the traditional curriculum. The projects are designed to foster student agency, encourage collaboration and build valuable life skills such as critical thinking, communication and resilience.
Passion Projects also allow students to connect with peers who share similar interests while having fun and trying new experiences. We are looking forward to seeing the creativity, confidence and connections our students develop through this exciting initiative.
The subjects on offer include:
- MasterChef
- Games, Puzzles and Escape Rooms
- Photography
- Crafternoon
- Junior Production
- Minecraft
- Netball
- Chess
- Soccer
- Basketball
- Ceramics
- Lego and Robotics
- Dungeons and Dragons
- Digital Technologies and Coding
Here are some photos of our students engaged in their Passion Project classes this week.
