1/2 M Reaching for The STARS!

We have certainly been on an amazing projectory in Year 1/2M. From reading all about our topic Space and then using that knowledge to create some incredible information posters, to then presenting the posters to both our buddies in 3/4M and to our parents too.

Our Buddies were really excited to see what we could achieve and were very impressed by the way we set out our work and also how much new information we had to share. We did some AWESOME learning and then we got to be TEACHERS too!

Maths has been exciting as well. We have looked at the way information can be presented in tables, graphs and charts. We tried a new type of graph called a 'Pie Chart'. It sounded delicious but it was so much fun to create. We asked a question, tallied the responses and then created a graph. We also had to answer questions related to the information on the graph. 

During Religion this term we have focused on Bible stories, songs and prayers that reflect the beauty of God's Creation. We also learned that many churches have stained glass windows that reflect the bible stories. We planned and created our own stained glass window representing the things we love about God's Creation.
