Year 3/4 Cluster News
Home inquiry: 10 minutes a day on the times tables app and reading. Please find and return any outstanding library books.
Learning this week:
-Sharing Christmas texts and focus on class magazine item and book making.
-Christian Studies posters relating to groups in the community that support sustainability and linking this to scripture.
-Mathematics: Revision of operations (+,-,x) and partner games. Students will also engage in Christmas mathematic challenges.
-Completing, reflecting and posting our learning on Sustainability.
If sustainable action is being done at home, can you please support your child by taking photos on their iPads of them completing the action. This will help with their final reflection task.
-Classes will also participate in Christmas craft rotations in the afternoon.
Christmas Concert – Friday 28th November (Week 7)
Our Christmas concert is fast approaching. It is expected that all children are in attendance for this event. For this amazing event, we ask the following:
Children are dropped to the classroom at 6:45pm.
Year 3/4 children are to be dressed in a purple top/dress and purple skirt or plain shorts/pants. This can be their school shorts/skorts if you wish.
Week 8 & 9 Key Dates / Events:
Thursday 4th Dec – P&F Science Show – students will get to view a fun science show thanks to the P&F.
Monday 8th Dec – Move up Morning – students will spend the morning until recess meeting their new class teachers and peers for 2026. We will also hold a 3/4 Cluster celebration between recess and lunch on this day!
Tuesday 9th Dec – P&F Fun Day – a sausage sizzle provided at lunchtime and a special visitor in the afternoon.
Wednesday 10th Dec – Last Day 2025 - Closing Worship @ 9:15am before farewells and goodbyes at the usual time of 3:07pm.
