Reading: Aim to read for 15 minutes each night at home.
Mathematics: You have $20 to spend on a Christmas present for a friend. What might you buy? How much will it cost? Will you have any money left?
Home Inquiry: Completed for 2025.
Learning this week:
Literacy: Word Study: For this week we will use Christmas themed words for Word Study practice.

Writer’s Workshop: we will finish the term practicing editing our work and adding in correct punctuation.
Mathematics: We will finish the year exploring symmetry. We will be making our own symmetrical drawings of famous cartoon characters.
Christian Studies: we will spend time reflecting on the significance and joy of Christmas. We will also be doing some craft activities to get into the spirit of the season.
Reminders
Ms Hughes' last day for 2025 is Monday, December 1st. Mrs Trezona supporting 2/3TR for Weeks 8 and 9.
Library – Last week for borrowing was in Week 6, all books will need to be returned before the completion of the school year.
End of Year Pack Up – As we pack up for the end of the year, we will gradually send home students books as we finish using them for the year. This will start from next week (Week 8).
Week 8 & 9 Key Dates / Events:
Monday 1st Dec – 2/3TR AFL Max Excursion
Thursday 4th Dec – P&F Science Show – students will get to view a fun science show thanks to the P&F.
Monday 8th Dec – Move up Morning – students will spend the morning until recess meeting their new class teachers and peers for 2026.
Tuesday 9th Dec – P&F Fun Day – a sausage sizzle provided at lunch time and a special visitor in the afternoon.
Wednesday 10th Dec – Last Day 2025 - Closing Worship @ 9:15am before farewells and goodbyes at the usual time of 3:07pm.
