As we approach the final weeks of the school year, our community has a wonderful opportunity to pause, look around, and recognise just how much has taken place at Mitcham Primary School. The past months have been filled with learning, connection, and celebrations that have strengthened the fabric of our school. ✨

We’ve shared sporting events bursting with energy, assemblies where students showed courage and pride, excursions that opened new windows of curiosity, and special days that brought families and staff together. Each moment has added something meaningful to our collective story, and it’s important to acknowledge the effort, enthusiasm, and kindness that made these experiences possible.

The end of the year naturally brings change—shifting routines, new transitions, and a growing sense of anticipation. These changes can feel exciting, busy, or even a little challenging for students. It’s a valuable time to help them reflect on their achievements, recognise their growth, and approach the remaining weeks with clarity and intention.

Encouraging students to make strong choices now—showing respect, supporting their peers, and staying engaged in learning—helps them finish the year with a sense of pride. These choices don’t just wrap up the term well; they also set the tone for the confident steps they’ll take into next year.

As 2025 draws to a close, may our community celebrate the good things we’ve shared, embrace the changes ahead, and move into the holidays with optimism and gratitude. 🌿
