Principal's Message

A Prayer for Our School Community

Loving God,

Bless our school community as we grow in understanding and unity.

Guide our hearts and minds to listen with care,

Speak with kindness, and act with compassion.

May our communication build bridges,

foster respect,

And nurture the learning and wellbeing of every child. Amen.

St Andrew's Communication Strategy

Dear Parents and Carers,

Following valuable input from our Parents and Friends group, the School Advisory Council (SAC) has endorsed our updated communication strategy. We will be trialing this strategy at St Andrew’s for the remainder of the year to strengthen how we connect with families by ensuring communication is clear, consistent, and purposeful.

Effective communication between home and school is vital to supporting our students’ success. Our updated strategy is designed to help all parents and carers:

  • Stay informed about school events, updates, and learning;
  • Feel connected to the day-to-day life of St Andrew’s;
  • Know where and how to access important information;
  • Understand who to contact with questions or concerns;
  • Engage meaningfully in their child’s learning journey.

This strategy also guides our staff in choosing the most appropriate platforms for different kinds of communication, making sure the right information reaches you in a timely and relevant way.

You can view the full communication strategy here: St Andrew’s Communication Strategy

We welcome your input as we trial this strategy and encourage you to email me directly on principal@saclaytonsth.catholic.edu.au with any thoughts or questions.

Communication is a shared responsibility, and I encourage you to maintain open and respectful dialogue with our staff. Your child’s classroom teacher remains your first point of contact for learning and wellbeing matters. If you’re not receiving updates or need help accessing any communication platforms, please contact our school office.

Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Together, we will continue to build a strong and connected school community for the benefit of all our students.

Regards

Brian Martin
