Nella & Maisie Adventures

We’ve been on the road now for 4 months and currently in Broome! We’ve followed the coastline of Australia from South Australia to the top of Western Australia. O highlights so far:

• Tours where we’ve swum with Whale sharks, turtles, sea lions, dolphins and even saw a dugong
• Maisie and Zaidee went on a sea plane to see the Horizontal Falls in the Kimberley
• Walking through the billion year old gorges in Karijini National Park in the Pilbara
• Lots of snorkelling and seeing different types of fish
• Swimming at the most beautiful beaches in the world around Esperance
• Saying hello to quokkas on Rottnest Island
• A tour with an Aboriginal elder in the Dampier Peninsula, who taught us about all the food and medicine that’s available in the bush and spear fishing for lunch where we ate turtle and fish, cooked their traditional way over hot coals
• Zaidee and Haydn fell in love with the southwest WA (wineries and beaches) and Exmouth (Ningaloo reef). Haydn has loved all the sand dune 4wd (Zaidee not so much!)

From here we make our way towards Darwin then down through the middle of Australia to Uluru.
