Year 7 Camp

Student Reflection on Year 7 Camp

In chilli week 6, brave Year 7 students and teachers set out for Phillip Island Adventure Camp. The staff at the camp welcomed everyone and sent activity groups off for their first rotation almost immediately. Over the three days, students had the opportunity to experience the Giant Swing, Flying Fox, Camp Cooking, Archery, Disc Golf, Raft Making, and Team Rescue. There was a visit to see the penguins where the staff went out of their way to tell our teachers what a great group of kids we were. Thanks! We think so, too ; )

A Tale of Two Cabins, by Max B

To the highest extent the giant swing goes,

A handmade raft comes apart as they row.

The flying fox makes my stomach churn,

The high-ropes course gives me friction burn.

Two cabins feud over lollies so sweet,

My cabin members wrestle each other with their feet.

In conclusion, camp was, without a doubt,

Listening to everyone yell and much about.
