Writer’s Talkfest 2025: On Belonging 

Northcote High fundraising event: Thursday 19 June, 6.30pm 

A message from the Friends of Northcote parent committee: 

Want to do something with your kids that encourages their love of literature, while supporting other NHS families who are doing it tough, as you are dazzled by an evening of sparkling conversation, followed by beverages and chats?  

Look no further than the 2025 Northcote High Literary Talkfest! 

 This year the multi-talented wonders Carly Findlay, Jess Knight and Bebe Oliver talk with NHS parent and author, Ruth Clare, about what it means to belong, and how to give the haters and judgemental fools the middle finger (in an enlightened and emotionally aware way, of course) so we can double down on celebrating the awesome magnificence of our unique and wonderful selves. Make it a night out with other parents. Hell, actually meet some of the parents of the kids your kid is friend with!  

All proceeds go to the NHS Thrive fund that helps students in need with the cost of school as well as improving school grounds and amenities.
