Renovations in the IS Centre
We’re excited to share that the IS Centre has undergone a vibrant transformation — and
our students are loving it! The former classrooms have been demolished to make way for a space exclusively dedicated to student study. While the IS Office has been relocated, it still remains in the same building. The refreshed center now features modern, comfortable furniture designed for quiet study, with beautiful Aboriginal patterns adding warmth and cultural significance. We've also added more microwaves to better serve students during breaks. The upgraded space can now accommodate more students, making the IS Centre not just a place to study, but a welcoming hub for connection.
Last Thursday, we’ve continued to gather as a community to share important information, including subject selection guidance and Term 2 break activities for students who are not returning home, etc. Ms. Harrison from the Wellbeing Team also delivered a presentation on anti-bullying, reinforcing our commitment to a safe and supportive environment. These sessions have been a great way to stay informed and connected.
Attendance has remained strong throughout Term 2, and we’re proud of the commitment our students have shown.
